I’m a former attorney and TV and film writer and I took a volunteer vacation to Africa in December of 2005, where I spent a month at a centre for street kids. Upon coming back to America, I couldn’t forget the children I had seen.

I founded a nonprofit to raise awareness and funds for orphans and vulnerable children. 100% of funds donated go to programs for the kids, and we focus on grassroots projects that are falling through the cracks and are in need of a hand up.

Donors can choose which country they want to help, and what kind of project and how they want their money spent. It’s been a huge success and we have already changed lives. We especially encourage kids here to help kids across the world. If they can raise money, great, but even if they can just talk about it in the classroom – learn about other countries, learn about what other kids their age are going through across the world – that in itself is! a great thing for the future of our planet.

We hope our website can be a place for kids to go to connect with kids across the globe.
I never anticipated that one trip to Africa would change my life forever, but it was the best thing I ever did. I wasn’t looking for a change – it found ME. I encourage all people to take time to volunteer, whether it be a month in Africa, or a few hours with someone down the street. It can be the most rewarding experience you never expected.

GO Campaign is helping to teach children the importance of giving, while in turn helping children in need.  With its many programs, GO equips youth and adults with the tools that they need to make giving a reality. Among many other things, GO suggests Youth use special celebrations such as Birthdays or Bar/t Mitzvahs and encourage guest to donate to a specific cause rather than buying gifts for the occasion.
