I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer on my Husbands 50th birthday, Aug 12,2006. I had just turned 46,three days before.Wow and what a shock. I had cancer in both breast, but not the same cancer. Your mind does a fast track to hell and back but then you put the hard hat on and dig in. Before a month had gone by, I had approximately six different test and or scans and a double mastectomy. I had surgery on a Tuesday and was released on Thursday.
